Boris Said Daytona Qualifying

Last time at Daytona, Boris said was the provisional pole sitter, until rain, rained out his chances of making a pole debut. Boris said for the Coke Zero 400 race is being sponsored by No Fear, and advance Auto Parts Ford.

Before making his qualifying run, Boris said had the following comments to say. “Its just nerve wrecking because of what happened last year. You want to make the race, so you don’t let down your guys. They put so much work into this car.”

His comments for the way the car ran, Boris, said “we ran great yesterday in practice Frankie Stoddard does a great job.”

Boris was the third car of the go or go homers to go out on the track, and posted a first lap of 49.127. His second lap he ran a lap of 48.601.

After his qualifying run, Boris comments were “I love this place, its awesome, that we are in, to represent our sponsors, once again I gotta thank everyone at rousch Yates racing. Every time we come down here our ford fusion is really fast. I am in and that’s what counts, we have to change some things, we are going to have to make some pit stops during the race to make some changes to the car, but we are going to have a fun race. I like to thank all our fans, and sobe no fear.”

The eventual winner of the qualifying session at Daytona was Paul Menard, who clocked in at a 48.409, Boris was only .192 off the pole, and wound up with a seventh place starting position!
